Ali Ayad looked the part he had plenty of followers on his fake Instagram and Linkedin accounts. He claimed his digital design agency had Nike, Samsung and Facebook as clients.
 
He stole a pitch book from a real design agency called Hatched and even stole their price list and passed it off as Madbird’s. The personal bios of the leadership team had also been stolen and used in the profiles of Madbird's fake staff! All Copyright theft. 
 
Madbird only existed online and even if his intention was to fake it before he made it, he damaged 52 real employee lives in the process before he was found out.

​​Ali lived in a fantasy world claiming to be a model – he even faked model shots in GQ for his Instagram followers. His people believed he was the real deal and that real salaries would follow, and golden futures would be possible with share schemes.
 
Sadly, it never did and all they gained was experience.
 
Experience that online everything can be faked and stolen and good people duped and defrauded by the fantasist, fake businesses and fake business people online.
