Ford Mustang engine growl even as you sit in the pub?

Ford has filed a patent for remote vehicle engine revving! 

Peer pressure? 
This is the kind of feature we have grown to expect from Tesla not Ford. For example Tesla’s Boombox mode can broadcast custom sounds outside of the car — including fart sounds! 

The patent was filed last November and published May 5th this year. The patent application does not mean Ford is on the verge of installing this tech in vehicles, nor is the patent granted yet! 

IMHO the engine growl is the best bit of the Ford Mustang and one designed to put a smile on any face:)
