Peppa Pig infringed by sanctions

Russia has decided not to recognise international IP laws following recent sanctions against the country

In a recent court case infringement against Peppa Pig was dropped by the judge in retaliation against Western sanctions. 
The judge ruled that the British cartoon character's trademarks can be used by Russian businesses without punishment.

Entertainment One owns the rights to Peppa Pig took legal action last Autumn against a Russian entrepreneur, Ivan Kozhevnikov, who had created his own versions of Peppa Pig.
